This thread is for any Pixar related thoughts that you may have that you would like to share, but don't think warrant a thread centered around them. Anything that happens to run through your head can be put here, so long as it's Pixar related.

The title says "small", but don't think you need to keep your posts short or anything. What warrants this thread, and what warrants its own thread (and what warrants nothing), are completely up to you.

For my own thought; I think it'd be awesome to see a Pixar film with no prior knowledge of what it was about. A good number of their movies feel like they could have had genuinely surprising openings if marketing and titles weren't things.

Oops somehow I initially posted a comment here meant for another thread! But yes, I usually go into pixar movies without knowing anything about them, like with Toy Story 3. It's great being surprised like that, but I'm enjoying the feeling of anticipation I'm getting with Inside Out [smile] I also can get a head start on merchandise collecting, which is something I don't do often because I don't watch most movies until they're on DVD. Since I have an emotional investment in waiting for inside out, it's the perfect time to collect!

Oh, I love your Monsters Inc collection! You have all the original mini figures and individual character figures, I remember seeing those things when I was kid. It's really nostalgic. Also, it was smart of you to get all the toy story funko pops early, because their prices have spiked lately. I'm hoping they'll do a rerelease of Lotso some time because his funko pop is expensive right now.

Really happy to learn Tim Hauser doesn't write all of the "Art of..." books for Pixar movies. Something about his writing is making the ones for Up and WALL-E kind of a chore to read, at least next to the really fun one for Wreck-It Ralph.

Pixar Post - T.J.
Just saw this quick note from a Bangor Daily News interview with Lewis Black - the article really doesn't share that much about Inside Out, but he had some nice accolades to say about Pixar.

Bangor Daily News Lewis Black quote wrote: They needed someone to play the character Anger, and they chose me. It’s terrific. I’m biased, but I saw the film and I thought it was remarkable. The people at Pixar are really intelligent, freakishly smart people. They are a tremendously creative group. The Beatles couldn’t hold it together, but there are hundreds of these people and they do an incredible job.

There were Inside Out decorations at the movie theater I went to last night. We're that close to it coming out! I'm so excited!

Inside Out is slowly taking over my brain.

It's extremely rare for me to get angry enough at someone to mentally rage at them in my head. But lately, whenever it does happen, I suddenly stop in mid-rant and tell Anger to get away from the control panel. Seriously. I do this.

Hilarious thing is, it works, because it makes me smile at my own silliness. You should give it a try. [wink]

I hate it when people say Merida's the first Pixar princess. She's not even the second.

On a related note, since Pixar characters apparently count now, and Disney's idea of royalty seems to be "In some way related to important person no matter if they're actually royal or not", if one wants to they can count Remy as a Disney Prince. [tongue]

Yep, I do that, too. [Laughing_zpsee77b0c4] Not sure if I've ever done it for Anger though (might have, might have not). I know I've done Sadness and Fear.

One may wonder if she is even Pixar's first female protagonist (One Man Band?...)
