Some time back dorkly held a huge vote in which people had to rank their favorite Pixar characters. It was a really tough competition, but every time I took it I ended up with both Lotso and Randall at the top, and usually with Toy story characters and Mike in the other 3 spots.

These are the results of some favorite Pixar characters polls:

I love so many Pixar characters, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would have to be Lotso (I know, I know, weird, right?) I guess I just find him a fascinating villain and I really like his thinkway toy, as it's so cute, and his voice actor was really good. It's strange because I love good guys and I always root for them of course (Mike, Sulley, Woody, etc), and I have a huge soft spot for Woody and Buzz and Jesse since my childhood, and Lotso tried to kill them, but he is still my fave? It's kind of funny!

So if you guys had to choose, who would your favorite Pixar character be?

Very, Very hard choice indeed. Dealing with the fact that one of the best things from Pixar movies are their characters. But I can't Pick JUST ONE, I'm going to choose two instead!

Dory and Wall-e

Vellerie, yup, that's an interesting choice with Lotso for listed all the arguments why you shouldn't like him, but still do. You're better than me - I love his design and I really want to like him (and his Thinkway plush) more, but I can't let myself since (as you mentioned) he tried to off my favorite...Buzz!

Buzz is my favorite since he's serious, hilarious, smart, delusional, super-cool and caring. Plus, the fact that his vulnerability of being reset or put into Spanish mode always cracks me up too! The final reason he's my favorite is that he's so classic - "respect the classics, man"! <--- What character says that line?

I should also note that Buzz is my favorite main character - I wouldn't even know where to begin with any of the supporting characters! [Silly_zps7c205e8c] [Nerd_zps76dc97d3]

Oh yes Buzz is thoroughly amazing! He gets all the best lines ("To infinity, and beyond!" "You are a sad, strange little man, and you have my pity." "This isn't flying, it's falling with style!"), he's a great person and a great friend, and very funny.

Now I feel like I should do separate categories, and one should just include heroes. Because after rewatching Monsters University for the first time in a while, Sulley is my favorite as well. He just tugs at my heart. So fave hero: Sulley, fave villain: Lotso. I think I would technically put Sulley as my ultimate favorite in that case [tongue]

And I feel you on the side character bit, I like pretty much every Pixar character in some form or fashion. I even feel bad choosing a favorite (but I do love Sulley).

And I imagine it'll just get harder once Inside Out is released lol!

Probably WALL-E. He's just so sweet and cute, and it's a marvel they were able to keep him constantly adorable through the whole thing without ever over doing it and making it annoying. I want to hug him so badly, cause it's so hard to remember he's metal and therefore not very huggable.

As a person who prefers Woody (slightly), I must point out that Buzz's falling with style was him quoting Woody, so technically that's a Woody line. [tongue]

Yep, it's 100% determined: Sulley is my favorite Pixar character. Wow, it feels nice being decisive lol! But I do love so many of their characters: Joy, Bing Bong, Lotso...

OK so I love Buzz, he has been my all time favorite since I was young! I also love Mike (I think he is my favorite character in the Monsters Inc franchise), Dory, and Mater (some people find him annoying, but I just think he is awesome).

This is a very hard question since there are so many great characters. If I had to pick one, I would go with Dory. I love Dory because she is really funny and she is a great role model (telling people to never give up with "just keep swimming").

As you can tell from my username, Buzz is my favorite Pixar character. I love everything about him: his design, all his cool features, and his awesome catchphrase: "To infinity and beyond!" But I think he's twice as awesome in his Spanish mode. ðŸ˜ Disney characters love it when you interact with them, so next time I go to Disney World, I'll ask Buzz to go into his Spanish mode, and he'll show off his best dance moves. And I am seriously hoping Spanish Buzz makes a comeback in Toy Story 4

Mine's very very obvious (username and profile is a dead give-away, so I'm kind of like Evelyn Deavor to a degree).

Before Violet Parr came into the world, it was Woody, Buzz (and to a lesser extent Jessie) from the Toy Story series, but when 2004 arrived my life was forever changed and since then, Violet has been a character that seemed to click with me (didn't help that I had an affectionate crush on her during the first film).

I can’t decide between Jessie and Violet Parr. 😂 I’ve always LOVED Jessie ever since I was introduced to Toy Story when I was younger and we’re SUPER similar in a ton of ways, but it’s uncanny how much Violet and I have in common (literally.) and her dynamic character development really inspired me. Overall, Violet and Jessie are both awesome in terms of relatability because they both share numerous character traits I have, and they’re both incredible role models to me.
