Wow, they're asking for an Inside Out 2 already?

But nonetheless, I would really enjoy an Inside Out themed attraction.

Goodness - I'd recommend no one go to that site unless you want to get bombarded with ads. Holy cow - literally, an auto-play ad with volume already turned on, banner ads, slide-open ads in the middle of the article text and the page refreshed halfway through me reading the text to load another auto-play video at the top. Whew!

The bottom line to save people the click...

No sequel is planned...though Pete wisely says that you can "never say never". As far as the parks talk, they say...

Quote:
If a sequel for "Inside Out" will never be made, Docter, together with producer Jonas Rivera, plans to bring it into Disney theme parks. However, the process of doing so can be complicated, but both Docter and Rivera hope to see "Inside Out" characters roaming around Main Street

Oops, my apologies about that T.J; that didn't happen to me, which is why I posted the site. Sorry!

No problem at all! It's not your fault - you didn't design the website to be overloaded with ads (some are fine, but that many is just insane)! Ha! [Big-Grin_zps23ec4c40]

Don't think I need to click into the link. Already seen a ton of other people talk about wanting one on practically every other site I go to. I worry this movie is going become the new Incredibles; a decade from now we'll still be hearing about how "Riley's twelve now" is SO TOTALLY an intentional sequel hook despite no mention of a sequel actually happening.

This is, of course, presuming a sequel doesn't pop up soon, which I must believe is the way things will happen in order to preserve sanity. [crazy]

I also keep seeing people say they should use the sequel to reverse that very sad thing that happened in the movie that I will not mention. Which...kind of angers and disgusts me at the same time.

All I have to say to those people is...no!

I totally think you're right. I can't believe they want a sequel... And so soon! Boy, it kind of actually makes me kind of mad. I can't help but imagine the people asking for an Inside Out 2 are the same ones begging for a Frozen 2, which really annoys me. C'mon guys! Aren't you happy you have Inside Out in the first place?

Wow! That's ridiculous! The message of the entire movie (Inside Out) was "Its ok to be sad", and now they're asking for a sequel that completely contradicts the first message? That's just silly.

Man, it hasn't even been 3 months for Inside Out! :/

I think Inside Out is one of those movies like Ratatouille, UP and Wall-E that should never have a sequel. It was a perfect stand alone film and I don't think they can make a sequel as magical and original as the original movie. I would love to see some shorts/TV specials though.

Wow, there's a lot of hatred flying around here. oO

Saying it now: I want a sequel. Not right now, not as a way to milk the franchise, but as a means of spending more time with these awesome characters in this awesome world, and only if Pixar can come up with a solid story that ties in with the first movie somehow.
It's just that there's a ton of stuff which was only marginally explored, and so much wasted potential, that it would be a complete waste not to make a second movie. Plus, sequels (if they're well-made) are awesome because there's less time needed for establishing the rules of the world, which leaves more room for character moments. So yeah, if a sequel got announced, I'd definitely be excited.

...no. Just no.
Whoever would want that?! oO Every kind of development in that direction would just completely undermine how powerful that sub-plot is in the first movie!

I too am upset by so many people begging for an Inside Out 2. And people wanting the sequel to reverse that sad thing that happened in the film shows that the kind of people who want that really dont understand the film on a deeper level and just think, "I liked that movie, but it was sad. I want a sequel that isn't sad!"
I have never thought that the ending of The Incredibles was supposed to be a hook for a sequel. I always thought the intention was to be an exciting, humorous scene. People actually think that the Underminer is going to be the villian in the sequel? I thought the scene was also an homage to films that end that way, with the heroes never getting a break since a new villian always pops up at the end.
