Pixar recently used a viral meme to announce and give us concept art for new characters as well as our old favorites. If I had to guess, Winston Deavor is the villain. It was also revealed a while ago that 25 new superheroes would show up, how big of a role they will have is still unknown, but I can see that Voyd will definitely have one of the bigger supporting roles as she got her own meme.
These characters also got supper detailed descriptions! Yup, Winston is definitely the villain.  https://io9.gizmodo.com/one-of-these-new-incredibles-2-characters-is-totally-th-1822303947

I wouldn't say he's a villain per say, I'm thinking he's going to be the "Alister Krei" of the sequel with his sister Evelyn (if you combined the name together, it means "Evil Endeavors") is the big bad, tech users are always the villains (if anything Winston is being set up as a possible big bad, only to take the fall later).

I'm also betting that Voyd will also be evil in the end rather than good (as she is an "Elastigirl" superfan, like Buddy was with Mr. Incredible and we saw how that turned out) and they even stated that the new villain will present a big challenge even tougher than Syndrome was, Voyd would present quite a hefty challenge for the Parr family.

Is is me, or does Sarah Vowell's face make me think of this face a bit?: [image] (and since the Doctor is currently played by a female now, I wonder how Sarah Vowell would portray her? (a little off-topic fun if that's alright, now I want to see Violet Parr in the TARDiS.)

Hey gang - in case anyone wants to read the additional character descriptions (with a few plot updates) you can read them in our post. Pixar released the details in an official press release after the images were first revealed on Pixar's Facebook page.

I can't wait for more about Voyd, her powers kind of remind me of the machine that is tested...the one that Baymax ends up getting stuck in...in Big Hero 6. She also kind of sounds like Syndrome in the sense that she's a "wannabe" Super.

VOYD (voice of Sophia Bush) is a young, overeager “wannabe” Super and a mega-fan of Elastigirl. Her superpower is the ability to divert and manipulate objects around her by creating voids that allow the objects to appear and disappear, and shift in space.

Regarding being the villain, Odenkirk was asked this by CinemaBlend and said he couldn’t answer, but I interpreted his reply to mean he might be.
“I'm not going to wreck that. ... I would ruin my part of the movie if I told you, if I answered that question. That is exactly the question I'm not allowed to answer. So think about that. Think about that.”

Very interesting! His voice definitely has a sinister undertone to it in general...and those highly arched eyebrows aren't helping the sketch of his character either! Ha! ðŸ˜¼

That got me thinking...since his character, Winston, runs a telecommunications company that he convinces a few Supers to join his company in some way (or use a product he has). Once they are in his "network", he uses the brains of his Sister, Evelyn (without her knowing) to track the Super's movements. One could assume that the underground network of Supers talks to each other...so, what if this tracking led him to have a hidden network of Supers and where they were all located? If he were really a villain, than he could try and use tech to expose them all.

And...since the plot says that Ms. Incredible will lead the charge to bring the Supers back - maybe she's the one Winston would be tracking (while he would be making her "think" he was helping).

Of course this is just my imagination running around after reading that, but it's the first plot point that I started thinking of in regards to the film.

Additionally, it's not a surprise that he couldn't answer though - Brad is known for being really strict and tight when working on films to not have a lot leaked. He loves to be the one to reveal what his project is - and I totally get that.

Yet that's not going to stop the 4chaners from leaking the plot details, the sequel comes out in 5-4 months and already people are spoiling the the story-line.

I wouldn’t consider Google a credible source, but a couple of days ago, they showed Lady Gaga as the voice of Mirage. It’s been corrected now; this Article shows that this did appear:

Very interesting - I could see that (if it is true), actually!

I saw that a couple of weeks ago, but Gaga's voice is perfect for Mirage. Not sure why Mirage would return in the second film, so I'm speculating its just a rumor for now.
