None of my anticipated films disappointed me! I loved Zootopia, Finding Dory, Captain America: Civil War, Moana and Rogue One. Some films that weren't on my list that really ended up surprising me and actually making it along with my anticipated ones on to my list of my top 10 favorite films of the year were Doctor Strange, Kubo and the Two Strings, Arrival, The Jungle Book and Sully.

10. Sully
Clint Eastwood brings to life a fantastic heroic story and once again Tom Hanks shines in this film. At 89 minutes it is short, but carries so much substance, which will definetly garner I hope a nomination for Hanks and Eastwood as Best Actor and Best Director.

9. Kubo and the Two Strings
In my opinion Laika's best film thus far. A wonderful story about family, culture, being yourself all while being accompanied by fantastic breathtaking stop-motion animation.

8. Captain America: Civil War
One of the most powerful superhero films of all time. If you can get passed the melodrama of the film you will have a blast with it! The airport scene is fantastic and portrays the Avengers as something we will never see again. It also introduces the characters of Black Panther and Tom holland's Spider-Man to the MCU. But by far the biggest stand-out of this film is the powerful acting done by Robert Downey Jr.

7. The Jungle Book
Jon Favreau brings to life in live action a classic Disney tale which is of The Jungle Book. Filled with phenomenal CGI, great voice acting (largely part of Bill Murray and Idris Elba), and a great script it also partially improves on the minor flaws of the original animated film.

6. Doctor Strange
A real big surprise which turned out to be one of the biggest blasts of the year introducing yet another very interesting character to the MCU as well as the whole magical element. All this makes for another fantastic, entertaining and enjoyable Marvel flick!

5. Arrival
Another huge surprise that was shockingly looked over in Box Office returns. Arrival is a smart and brillantly executed and well-written film with an emotional core. Amy Adams shines in this film. A film you will not regret seeing.

4. Rogue One
A fantastic addition to the Star Wars franchise, with a phonomeal and smart story as well as a deep emotional core between the films protagianst Jyn Erso and her father Galen Erso. All this, and the return of Darth Vader, and fantastic action sequences and a phenomenal last 30 minutes make for this to be an amazing film!

3. Finding Dory
The best sequel Pixar could've done with brilliant characters, a wonderful story and setting, great animation and just about everything else make for a fantastic film with a fantastic message about disability.

2. Moana
Another fantastic film from WDAS filled with fantastic characters, great animation, and a very creative plot that never ever gets tired. Also filled to the brim with fantastic music (in large part due to Lin Manuel Miranda) this makes for another fantastic film from WDAS and a new classic!

1. Zootopia
Filled with great characters, great animation and a fascinating world and a very smart and thought-provoking story about sterotypes and the dangers of limiting people to such, as well as preventing other bigotry such as sexism, makes for this to be the stand-out film of the year in my opinion.
