Was wondering what everyone's most anticipated Tv shows for 2016 are. Here are my top 5:

Shadow hunters ( Freeform/Netflix for those outside US on Tuesdays/Wednesdays respectively) - Interesting take on The Mortal Instruments Series, I'm curious to see where it goes

Once Upon A Time Season 5B (Sunday nights at 9|8C. ABC/CTV, returns March 6)- Hercules & other greek mythology concepts and the return of Cruella among others, HECK YES!

Agents of Shield Season 3B (Tuesdays at 9|10c ABC/CTV, returns March 1) - I must say I like many others are very impressed with how SHIELD has turned out this season so far. They finally "Got it right" so to speak. Cannot wait for any Civil War connections..... !!!!!!!

Girl Meets World (Fridays at 930|830c Disney Channel) - Again, a very impressive show that has found its true footing. Gives Boy Meets World a run for its money even. This is what live action Disney channel shows should have been all along from the get go. Very inspiring and moving, even for those outside of its age demographic. Just as powerful for those in their 20s and older and it is for teens and tweens.

Sofia the First (Saturdays at 7|6c Disney Junior) - This past season has been fabulous and has become one of my all time favourite Tv shows. Very good magical concepts to rival even Harry Potter, dare I say. I'm liking the Library story arc, and am excited to (eventually) see Anna and Elsa hopefully show up. The lessons have also helped me get through a lot of things in my life as of recently and I hope that the show is as inspiring to others as it is for me.

Turning this discussion around, while you also list most anticipated, name the ones that you are dropping, either ones you've watched or were considering to watch and then decided not to and provide an explanation for both sections.

I've already dropped Flash and Gotham, mainly because I just do not like DC's overall style and elements (though Flash is an awesome show and I am proud of the potential and inspiration it has presented for superhero, let alone TV shows in general overall)

Ok here we go-

-Agents of Shield
The first season of this show was hit or miss, but the second season was just pure fantastic and I was on the edge of my seat the entire season. I'm interested to see how this show could tie into future mcu films like civil war and doctor strange.

-The Muppets
While the first couple episodes of ABC'S The Muppets were hit or miss, the most recent ones have all been fantastic and super funny!

-Gravity Falls
My favorite animated Disney show. The series finale has already aired and it's awesome. But I just love this show, too bad it's ending, but it's great that it's ending on such a high note!

-Star Wars Rebels
Wasn't a huge fan of the show, just because I felt like it was patronizing some of my favorite movies, that was before the Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars Rebels characters were released, now I'm addicted to this show!

House of Cards (Netflix): This show was the VERY first show i saw when i got Netflix, and this is getting better, if you haven't seen it you should

Daredevil (Netflix): A Marvel fan, not a fan of the 2003 film, but i respected it

Jessica Jones (Netflix): Also from Marvel

Outlander (Starz): THIS SHOW IS FLAWLESS, if you haven't seen it you really need to

Steven Universe (Cartoon Network): My fav animated show at the moment, its so amazing

Honorable mentions: Orange is the New Black (Netflix), Star vs the Forces of Evil (Disney XD), Fargo (FX), Agents of SHIELD (ABC) and Adventure Time (Cartoon Network)

Is The Muppets still relying on "adult" type humour, such as them going out to bars and Fozzie still being with a human relationship or has it gotten more like the 2011 movie?

Sorry for the long response Pixarer, it is more like the 2011 film now. But the season just finished.

No problem Arlo, just don't get too scared over it [smile] So its more like the 2011 film in terms of style of humour and tone? Like does it still have adult type humour like it did in the earlier episodes or is it at least a little more family friendly?

They have subtle adult references now, but it is pretty family-friendly now, I mean my seven year old sister watches it and it is appropriate.
