Over the past few days, my Instagram feed has been filled with posts from Pixarians relating to the injustices against African Americans that have been happening as of late. To help out, Pixar artists have come in and posted art giveaways to help donate and support several organizations that give back to the Black Lives Matter movement. First, story artist Yon Lee posted an auction featuring an original watercolor piece and set bidding to last until 9 PST. Next up, art director Deanna Marsigliese posted in her story that she’d be giving away fashion sketches on original Pixar paper with a $25 donation to a BLM organization. Wasn’t surprised to see that they sold out right away. Neat! Can’t wait to see if more artists do the same.
