Here we can discuss merchandise related to 2019’s Toy Story 4.

To start, Amazon has a ton of listings for various Toy Story 4 books releasing in May 2019. Among these are also new titles for Toy Story 1-3 and generic Pixar titles that will feature TS4 in addition to other films such as Coco, Inside Out, Finding Dory, etc.

Nothing is revealed about plot itself, besides a new breakout character (name unknown) and a new room (location unknown).

Some titles feature cover art, which may not be final next May. Most do not contain cover art.

You do not find that the thickness of the box is weird? Would not this toy hide something else in it? because the thickness is not propotional to the piece shown in the photos

I honestly think that's due to the launcher which makes up the remaining fraction of the box not displayed with Duke Caboom and the bike. Aside from the price, the weird hand shape made to grip the bike on top of the lack of a fabric cape really doesn't make it worth the $70. Mattel's Duke has hands that are able to grip the bike without the weird hexagonal shape.

Maybe I'm just a tad bit salty with the execution of Duke since I was looking forward to him the most out of the newcomers but come on. I hope they get Gabby Gabby right at least.

Unfortunately, Jenny from Thinkway has advised there are no current plans to make Gabby Gabby in any of their lines :-(

Is the Mattel Duke Caboom too small?? Or is he the size in the movie.

I'm wondering this too, if hes movie scale, I'm just going to snag him as opposed to the still not completely accurate, overpriced thinkway version. Were they not thinking to make him as close to the movie as possible?

Not really related to Toy Story replicas but cool nonetheless, the backpack company justhype released a Zurg box backpack to go alongside their popular Buzz Lightyear box backpack. Both this and the Buzz backpack go for $45 but they definitely look like great novelty items to walk around Disney with.

That is incredibly disappointing to hear. I really hope they're just being secretive about the line but I'm worried that's not the case this time around. The only other likely candidate to make a 1:1 Gabby Gabby is mattel since she's based off of Chatty Cathy but only time will tell.

And I think the mattel Duke is about 6" which seems about right with his on-screen counterpart.

From what I can tell mattel almost never makes things in scale.

Mattel one is actually half the size he is supose to be. 7" or 17cm

I just picked up the Duke Caboom and Forky two pack and can confirm he's a bit undersized. He measures to about 5.75 inches without his helmet. I'm okay with the cheaper Duke being a little smaller than his onscreen counterpart since he's pretty poseable for a $10 figure.

Mattel comes the closest. The Forky and Duke Caboom 2pack for the removable helmet and the stunt cycle set for his bike and launcher. It's not fully accurate size wise as you can see when he's next to Bo but he has the same level of articulation as his on screen counterpart.

Are there any fellow Aussies on this thread and, if so, has anyone had any luck finding either of Thinkway's "basic" Bo Peep figures with fabric costumes in local stores (i.e. http://www.thinkwaytoys.com/MccProductInfo.asp?PSku=64433#sthash.TvzKvISS.dpbs or http://www.thinkwaytoys.com/MccProductInfo.asp?PSku=64453#sthash.lwIJ8zLx.dpbs)?

Went to Disneyland today and saw some cool new merchandise! First off, I can say that the Pizza Planet is staying at Disneyland longer than the Pixar Fest is going to last. The logo is a decal on the rocket and the big “Pizza Planet” lettering is in place. Apart from that, I bought my little sister the Toy Story 4 Barbie doll and my little brother Duke Caboom.

That's cute! I'm planning on getting the new barbie and switching heads and outfits with the toys story 3 barbie. I have the Hawaii Ken but I wish I could find the animal loving Ken outfit
