Just thought it'd be something fun to discuss. I mean any attractions from any park, but I just put it here since we don't have a general park sub-forum.

My vote for best goes to Toy Story Mania, mainly because of the amusement of having the characters respond to your attempts to shoot them. It's fun overall, but that's the highlight. I just wish you could nail the ones that come up to start new rounds.

(And that whole mini-paragraph probably sounds way more meanspirited than it should. [Silly_zps7c205e8c] It's just a fun little detail that heightens the sense of interaction, I don't feel some need to throw pies at Toy Story characters.)

On the opposite side of things, It's Tough to be a Bug is pretty crummy to me. It's not funny and doesn't really relate to A Bug's Life at all, and the effects aren't anywhere near spectacular enough to make up for it. It's a version of Your Friend the Rat (which I already don't like very much, but at least that one makes sense) that eats up valuable Disney park time.

Let's see. Pixar place was MASSIVELY disappointing. I hope that when they open Toy Story land/ Pixar Pier in California I can go and experience what a Pixar fan truly deserves lol.

Buzzlightyear's Space Ranger Spin was a highlight for me, fun, thrilling, and competitive. Also loved the whole look once you're inside the attraction, it is great for ambiance.

I can't think of many more Pixar attractions that I've experienced.... let's see, Finding Nemo musical was kind of adorable.

I really cannot wait for the new attractions, I hope I can go once it opens. The Incredicoaster sounds great.

I've heard great things about Cars land.

Pixar Place annoyed me a little. I'm still completely baffled as to why they didn't just call it Toy Story Land (back when they built it, obviously that's a moot point now). There wasn't even some token mention of other movies or some studio specific attraction (which would be awesome), it's just entirely Toy Story. And looking it up, it looks like the only other thing they ever had there was an animatronic Luxo, so it's not like it started out more diverse and was just whittled down.

Edit: It's supposed to look like Pixar's campus, apparently? Definitely not getting across with the Toy Story stuff slapped on every surface.

Oh, and I never got to experience it for myself (unfortunately) and I guess you could argue whether it really counts as an attraction, but I love the whole idea behind Remy in Chef de France, where they had a little animatronic of him on a plate and would visit tables with it. From my understanding, World Showcase is supposed to be mainly just a look at the countries without really heavy character and movie focus, and I think little things like that are just the perfect balance of adding whimsy without really taking away from that (sooooo much better than the Frozen Ever After crud). Plus, how many other opportunities do you have to have a character at the appropriate size, in the appropriate setting, and have an excuse as to why it isn't talking? The whole set up was great! The only thing that could've made it any better was if they hadn't made the baffling decision to keep his hands stuck in an upturned position (watching videos online, he looks like he's perpetually shrugging). I'm so sad it's gone and I never got to see him.

I love all the Pixar attractions at Disney World, but my favorite is Buzz's Space Ranger Spin. I'm better at Toy Story Mania, but I enjoy both attractions immensely. Anything Pixar at the Disney parks is a winner. To infinite awesomeness and beyond, baby! 🙂
