Pixar has a huge variety of holiday décor available, ranging from tree ornaments to yard inflatables to holiday-themed toys. What is everyone putting up this year?
For me, I’ve been collecting Pixar’s tree ornaments for over the last few years. Two years ago, I picked up an artificial tree in the post-Christmas sales because my collection was so big it began to dominate my family’s tree (a real tree with predominantly generic ornaments now that I have my own). Last year and this year, I’ve put my tree up around Thanksgiving and put all of my ornaments on them. This year I put it up yesterday (it’s currently the only Christmas decoration up in my house at the time of writing), and here are some pictures of it (the tree was I think about $15 because it was on clearance, and I try to buy the ornaments during the spring/summer or receive them as gifts to get the best deals - typically, I’ve paid in the $8-25 range per ornament, and I have about 60 or 70, probably about 20-25 of which were gifts from relatives). I don’t have any of the 2019 ones yet though (except for the limited edition Up “Married Life” ornament and a Bo Peep ornament from TS4 I really liked, both from Disney Store) because I’m hoping to get better deals in post-holiday clearance sales and from eBay sellers who will have relatively low prices on ones that flood the website (which will probably be most, if not all, of the Hallmark ones) until fall 2020 (when most non-hardcore collectors begin shopping for them), like I have in previous years.
