I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate the craftsmanship of Disney Infinity figures. I love how they nail down the characters in their own stylized (and often cute!) way, and the paint on the ones I have is close to impeccable--definitely a stark contrast in quality control to Funko, for instance; not to knock Funko but it's true. I love the varying poses and base landscapes! I really love Merida as a character (both in Brave and OUAT) so I was happy to see that her figure looks better in person than in the pictures I saw.

I'm kinda picky with what I get though.

I'm the same way as well! In fact, I only collect things from certain Pixar movies & characters and so my collection in terms of variety may not be as big as many others that really do some major collecting of many franchises! And also, very nice collection you got going on there!

Pixar Post - T.J.
Wow great photos and info - thanks for sharing Vellerie! I didn't realize the size difference in the talking Randy and Sulley figures (since we don't have those) and you're right, that makes the Randy one that much more unique and cool! Plus, the big holes in Sulley's stomach don't look all that great...but Randy looks awesome!

Also, you're 100% right about the Scare Student Randy - he was my favorite of all the ones released for Monsters U because of the clear tail and removable glasses as well.

So, with your Toy Story 3 book ends, what books are they holding up? I love when the spines of books like great lined up like that - it really adds to the "look and feel" of a collection/series.

Finally - YES, couldn't agree more with the Disney Infinity figures - the design and production of them is so fantastic. Merida is one of my favorites of all of the Disney Infinity figures created because of the look in her eyes, the colors are perfect and the wisp on the base is a perfect add-on.

Thanks again for sharing some of your collection - so great to see what people gravitate towards. No matter the collection size overall, everyone always has the one toy/figure/whatever that you connect with and is a little more rare than another! Keep sharing everyone - so cool!

For anyone else that might be jumping in here, also check out this massive collection of Monsters-Inc and-University-themed items!

Yes, it's best to stick with what you really love, though I admit I've been tempted to get the large Good Dinosaur figures but held out for that reason! I'd love to see someone's Good Dinosaur collection if anyone has one. And as much as I love looking at huge collections, for me quality>quantity since I don't have a lot of space. So I just get what I really love.

@TJ: The books that the bookends are holding up are nursing textbooks. They're surprisingly colorful, aren't they? Given how much they and their accompanying online program cost, it's some consolation lol! They're way overpriced, and the regular textbooks we use are way more helpful.

I wanted to share another Pixar collectible that I really like, unsurprisingly since Lotso is my favorite Pixar villain. I like how this ornament makes Lotso look ragged and stained, since he's supposed to be an old toy.

The details on Twitch look awesome too!

And I like that Disney released statues of Chunk with both his happy face (the bookend) and angry face!

EDIT: Also, yes, I love that MI/MU collection you linked to! If anyone hasn't seen it yet, it's definitely worth a peek because it's so cool!

Agreed!! I also don't have a lot of space as well so I always try to make use of the amount of room I have! That's why shelves are always a helpful resource! By the way, it seems like you have a thing for Lotso and Randall! Especially Lotso! Kinda ironic since they're both villains! Plus, I really adore those bookends!! It is hands down one the coolest Pixar things I've ever seen!!! [biggrin] Also, if you ever get the chance, I highly recommend you try to get 1 or 2 large figures of The Good Dinosaur! And speaking of wanting to see someone's Good Dinosaur collection, I do in fact have one! In fact, a lot of my collection is all Good Dino related along with some Inside Out and a couple other things including one special collectible! I don't want to go into details since I'll be posting pictures of my collection sometime later on this year but I will do say that I have one Lotso figure! [wink]

I'm excited to see your collection, ThePolishGent, and am curious to know which Lotso you have!

Yesterday, I went with a friend to Gamestop and found their exclusive Monster Boo Dorbz there, so I grabbed her even though I'm supposed to be saving money lol. I rearranged my shelves a little, since I have so much space now that I've converted to Kindle for my reading. However, next year there are two books coming out that I aim to preorder, since I want the 1st edition hardcovers (The Tiger's Daughter by K Arsenault Rivera and the sequel to The Traitor Baru Cormorant!) so I guess I'll be rearranging again.

I sure can't wait to show my collection to all to you!! In fact Vellerie, I'll at least show you one picture of this Lotso figure that I bought on Ebay a year or so ago! [smile]

What makes this figure (which happens to be made by TOMY) really unique is that this was only available from Japan along with a set of characters including the Toy Story logo which is made out of toys that you can collect. However, it was listed U.S. Ebay website instead of Ebay.jp. I forgot how much I paid for it but it wasn't that much. Also, this figure you have to assemble it together since it came package in a oval sphere container. The only reason why I got it was that I just happen to really like the quality of the figure! and plus, Lotso is cool!
